Raise your hand if hand dyed rainbows are your thing! This super cozy and fluffy mohair silk yarn blend is a neon multicolour feast for your eyes. Most of the colours here will also light up under UV light, fun!
I named it Rainbow Connection as a homage to the song by Kermit the Frog, one my little grown-up heart still loves to this day.
This type of lace weight mohair silk yarn is airy and soft, making it perfect for see-through next-to-skin knitting or crochet projects that keep you warm. Double it with a semi-solid fingering weight yarn and you’ll get my favourite type of cardigan.
This is a repeatable colourway. If you’d like a larger quantity of skeins, please contact me and I’ll be happy to custom dye it just for you.
One word on colour accuracy and repetition
Please note that this is a hand dyed colourway and therefore differences will occur between skeins. The ones you order will have the same colours but they might not show in the same order or in the same intensity everywhere as the skeins shown in the photos.
Also note that colours that show true on my monitor might differ on yours depending to your settings.
Because designer indie yarns are usually dyed in small batches, differences can occur between them (and often in the same batch). I therefore advise you buy as many skeins as needed for your project and alternate them to avoid pooling and colour mismatches. Find out more in our Fibre Bases and Info page.
