Pink Speckled Yarn | Choose a Yarn Base | “Cotton Candy Kitty”

“Cotton Candy Kitty” is a cheeky pink speckled yarn that makes me think of cotton candy. And, since I’m a crazy cat lady, it also reminds me of kitties wearing those fluffy jumpers (yes, I know I’m weird.)

Since the Barbie movie came out, pink has been all the rage. Why not celebrate this ode to womanhood with a very cute speckled pink yarn?

This is “Cotton Candy Kitty,” a semi-solid soft pink yarn with cheeky darker pink speckles here and there for added depth. Pink on pink!

Please note that this a dyed-to-order listing. This means the yarn isn’t ready to send yet but I will custom dye it for you in the base you choose once you place the order. Please allow 3-5 days for processing plus shipping. By dyeing only what you order, I am saving resources and energy, which is great for the planet and my stock storage.

This speckled pink yarn is part of the Cattitude Collection and might be readily available in Gaia Sock (superwash merino/nylon) or Kitten Lace.

Different results on different yarn bases

Different yarn bases will absorb dye differently because of the different types of fibre present and whether they’ve been superwash treated for non-felting. This means your chosen yarns might differ a little from the colours shown in the photos.

Please order as many skeins as you need for your project to avoid dye lot differences. I also suggest you alternate skeins as you knit/crochet to avoid any colour mismatches between yarns, even in the same dye lot.

Colour settings and accuracy

This semi solid pink speckled yarn is showing accurately on my monitor, but please be aware your settings might differ from mine.

  • Keep yarn in a dry room away from direct sunlight. Airtight boxes are recommended. Don’t place anything heavy on top of the skein to avoid squishing it.
  • I recommend adding lavender sachets to the storage container for pest prevention.
  • Hand wash your finished product separately using wool-specific detergents, dry flat. Hand dyed fibres may bleed a little in the first couple of washes.
