Love a good hand dyed pastel rainbow yarn? Same. This super cozy and fluffy mohair silk yarn blend is a fun neon multicolour feast for your eyes but in pastels. Most of the colours here will also light up under UV light, which is extra fun.
I named it Rainbow Connection II as a homage to the song by Kermit the Frog, one my little grown-up heart still loves to this day. This colourway is the pastel version of Rainbow Connection.
This type of lace weight mohair silk yarn is airy and soft, making it perfect for see-through next-to-skin knitting or crochet projects that keep you warm. Double it with a semi-solid fingering weight yarn and you’ll get my favourite type of cardigan.
This is a repeatable colourway. If you’d like a larger quantity of skeins, or in a different yarn base, please contact me and I’ll be happy to custom dye it just for you.
One word on colour accuracy
Colours may show differently on your monitor according to your settings.
Because designer indie yarns are usually dyed in small batches, differences can occur between them (and often in the same batch). I therefore advise you buy as many skeins as needed for your project and alternate them to avoid pooling and colour mismatches. Find out more in our Fibre Bases and Info page.
Please also bear in mind that the same colourway will show differently depending on the yarn base because different fibres and treatments will take up colour in their own way.
