Meet the cosy multicolour wool shawl of your dreams. This merino one-ply yarn is seriously soft and the bright colours make it a wardrobe must-have for those wanting to carry around a lovely rainbow every day.
This is a very fluffy and cozy large shawl, measuring 185cm wide (72″). I knit it in garter stitch and used a classic triangular shape so there are no distractions with the pattern – I did add a few purl rows here and there for extra interest, but in this garment accessory, the colour does most of the talking.
This multicolour wool shawl is a great addition to your wardrobe and, properly cared for, is an heirloom piece to be passed down for generations. It is one of a kind, so once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
I don’t recommend you wash this wool shawl unless you really need to. Wool is self-cleaning, so hanging it horizontally outdoors for thirty minutes or so will rid it of any clingy smells such as tobacco.
If you do need to wash it, please follow the instructions written below to keep your garment looking its best for many years to come.
