Description
Sturdy, squishy, blue...
- Dyed in my Gaia Sock base: superwash merino/nylon (75/25) fingering weight yarn
- Sturdy all-rounder base for all types of knitting and crochet projects
- Repeatable colourway
Rusty Door in Modena is a saturated turquoise blue and rust yarn with enough speckles to keep your eyes interested when knitting or crocheting and after you’ve finished your project. It is dyed in my Gaia Sock base, which is a great squishy all-rounder for any type of project demanding sock weight wool.
At 464 yards or 425 meters, it’s got enough length for a pair of socks or, if you’ve got small feet like I do, a pair of socks and some wrist warmers. Looking for this colourway in double knit? Click here for the Gaia DK version.
Because designer indie-dyed yarns are created in small batches, differences are to be expected between skeins (and often even in the same batch). Because of this, I advise you buy as many skeins as needed for your project and alternate them to avoid pooling and colour mismatches. Find out more in our Fibre Bases and Info page.
