Description
This sock/fingering weight neon mini skein set is a trip down memory lane for me – back to school days, when I used my highlighters on special words I needed to remember for tests. My favourite highlighter colour was neon yellow. Wait, it still is!
There are 5 glorious mini skeins in this set: violet, orange, blue, fuchsia pink and yellow. All colours apart from blue are UV-reactive.
Each mini skein is at least 70 meters, some going up to 72 meters. I’ve chosen to measure, instead of weighing, to ensure more length accuracy – this way you can make sure you have enough for your particular project.
The total weight for this neon mini skein set is approximately 100 grams, the same as one full skein or yarn. You can pair this set with another full skein for extra yardage if your knitting or crochet project calls for it.
At the time of writing I only dyed this neon mini skein set in this particular base, but I can dye it to order in another base I have available. Feel free to contact me to place a custom order.
About Demeter Sock
Demeter is a very squishy and sturdy superwash BFL base with bits of black and white tweed mixed in.
Demeter Sock is, as the name suggests, a 4-ply/fingering weight yarn. More precisely, I would describe it as more on the heavy fingering weight scale.
