Description
If you love a squishy core spun, hand spun art yarn, this is the one for you. This skein is the perfect combo of white soft and lofty merino wool with rainbow bits of silk and sparkle sprinkled here and there.
I created this art yarn by core spinning a smooth batt and then plying it with deep blue-violet sparkle thread. This yarn is quite balanced (meaning that it doesn’t twist on itself much), considering it’s a core spun yarn. It would look stunning as part of a weaving project.
There’s a total of 64 yards or 58.5 meters (approximately) of mostly bulky/chunky weight art yarn for you to enjoy. There are small differences in thickness here and there, as might be expected for a hand spun art yarn.
This is 64 yards of a very lovely merino wool and rainbow silk yarn you’ll be glad to have in your stash!
Hand spun art yarn is special
Hand spun art yarns are special because they are so full of character that commercial yarn just can’t imitate. Each yard of fibre has passed through this spinner’s loving hand to become what it is now: a glorious, squishy art yarn skein waiting for your imagination to turn into a knitting or crochet project you can be proud of.
When crafting with handspun yarns, you are picking up the spinner’s work, continuing the fibre’s journey, and making it your own.
Be a proud part of this amazing handmade artistry.
