Description
If knitting or crocheting with super soft lace weight yarn is a life goal for you (same), this yarn base is for you. I am an enthusiastic shawl knitter and this yarn just makes me want to keep knitting.
Iris In Bloom is a semi-solid violet hand dyed yarn with hints of pink undertones. There are areas where the colour is deeper, and others where it is slightly lighter, just like an iris flower.
Dyed in my Ariadne base (80/20 merino silk blend), this lace skein has a whopping 1200 meters of length. That is enough for a wonderfully big and lush hand knitted or crocheted shawl.
This is a repeatable colourway. If you’d like a larger quantity of skeins or this colourway in a different yarn base, please contact me and I’ll be happy to custom dye it for you.
Hand dyed independent yarns
Because designer indie-dyed yarns are created in small batches, differences are to be expected between them (and often even in the same batch). Because of this, I advise you buy as many skeins as needed for your project and alternate them to avoid pooling and colour mismatches. Find out more in our Fibre Bases and Info page.
A word on colour accuracy
Please bear in mind that although I’ve done my best to convey the true colours of this yarn on my end, your monitor settings might differ from mine.
