Description
Make way for this bonny blue, purple and pink hand spun yarn!
I used my own hand dyed wool top with neon purples, pinks and popping blues to make a lovely coordinating skein of yarn. In a blend of BFL wool and fully compostable bio-nylon in a mostly chunky/bulky weight, this is one squishy and bouncy skein.
I created a barber pole effect with this yarn by plying two strands of different colours for the most part. When you knit, crochet or weave with it, all the colours will sort of blend together optically beautifully.
You’ll have a total of 168 yards to play with, so pick a project and get crafting!
Hand spun yarns and you: a special handmade journey
Hand spun yarns are such amazing gems of knitting, crochet or weaving wonder that commercial yarns can’t begin to get close to.
I have lovingly spun each yard on my wheel, but the journey doesn’t end here – it continues with you, your crafting project and your imagination.
What an amazing thing that a hand spun yarn begins its journey with one person and continues with someone else, and how lovely is it to be a part of that?
