Description

Please note: this skein of yellow lace yarn has been discounted because some tiny particles of green dye have attached themselves to the fibre during the hand dyeing process in a couple of places. You can see one in the photo of the yarn in twisted skein format. It is very slight and discreet, and shouldn’t be noticeable in a lace project.

Do you enjoy knitting or crocheting with super soft and shiny yellow lace weight yarn? Well then, this is definitely for you.

Lemon Blossom is a gorgeous and bright yellow hand dyed skein that I hand dyed in Ariadne Lace (80/20 merino silk blend). With a whopping 1200 meters of length, you have enough to knit or crochet a big and lush shawl! Or, dare I say a garment? Go on, be adventurous.

On hand dyed yarn differences and monitor settings

Yarns that are hand dyed in small batches may show differences between each other and between batches. Because of this, I recommend you buy as many skeins as you need for your project and alternate them so you avoid pooling and colour mismatches. Find out more in our Fibre Bases and Info page.

This is a repeatable colourway. If you’d like a larger quantity of skeins, please contact me and I’ll be happy to custom dye it just for you.

Although I have done my best to convey the true colours of this yarn, your monitor settings might differ from mine.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Keep yarn in a dry room away from direct sunlight. Airtight boxes are recommended. Don’t place anything heavy on top of the skein to avoid squishing it.
  • I recommend adding lavender sachets to the storage container for pest prevention.
  • Hand wash your finished product separately using wool-specific detergents, dry flat. Hand dyed fibres may bleed a little in the first couple of washes.
