Description

BLF stands for Blue Faced Leicester, a very popular sheep breed for spinning. It has a medium staple fibre, making it great for beginner and experienced spinners alike. BFL makes the process of turning wool into yarn a joy.

Superwash wool roving will not felt – you can simply pop your finished project in the washing machine using a gentle cycle, and be safe knowing you’re not getting a mess at the end. Perfect for children’s items.

If you’re looking for a fun wool for hand spinning, look no further!

Although colours show true in my monitor, your settings might differ from mine.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Keep wool top/roving or art batts in a dry room away from direct sunlight. Airtight boxes are recommended. Don’t place anything heavy on top of the fibre to avoid squishing it.
Handle silk hankies with moisturised hands to avoid them sticking to your skin.
  • I recommend adding lavender sachets to the storage container for pest prevention.
  • Hand wash your finished product separately using wool-specific detergents, dry flat. Hand dyed fibres may bleed a little in the first couple of washes.
