Description
If you love semi-solid, ocean inspired yarn colourways with speckles, this is for you. Meet Incoming Tide, a one-of-a-kind colourway inspired by warm days by the sea, collecting glass pebbles as you walk along the beach. I can smell the salt in the air already.
Hand dyed in my Gaia Sock yarn base, this squishy, high twist sock/fingering weight skein is stunning with its deep blue and green hues. The orange speckles (with some hints of blush pink here and there) add a touch of cheeky whimsy to this colourway.
These skeins of Incoming Tide were the result of a whimsical hand dyeing session, and therefore are non-repeatable. Please make sure you buy enough for your project, or alternate this with a semi-solid colour yarn for extra yardage.
High twist fingering weight yarns with nylon are perfect for socks or harder-wearing jumpers/sweaters. The colour progression from blue to blue-green and then the orange/pink speckles will keep your eyes engaged and your hands knitting.
About indie dyed yarns
Because designer hand-dyed yarns are created in small batches, differences are to be expected between them (and often even in the same batch). Because of this, I advise you buy as many skeins as needed for your project and alternate them to avoid pooling and colour mismatches. Find out more in our Fibre Bases and Info page.
Whether you’re talking about a similar ocean themed yarn or any another colourway, I am happy to custom dye a lot of yarn to suit your needs, simply contact me on [email protected] and let’s talk!
A disclaimer on colour
I’ve done my best to showcase the true colours of my lovely yarns. However, your monitor settings might differ from mine.
