Description
Selene, my single ply sock yarn base, is just so very soft. Single ply yarns are squishier and bouncier to the touch, making them the perfect fibres for warm beanies or a cosy cowl.
This undyed yarn has a lovely natural white colour. Knit or crochet it as is, or try your hand at home dyeing before tackling your project – food colouring is perfect because you won’t need any dedicated dyeing equipment.
This single ply sock yarn has a total of 400 yards or 366 meters for you to enjoy.
Selene Sock is one of my go-to yarns due to its well defined ply definition and how well it handles colour without felting. Find out more in our Fibre Bases and Info page.
