Description
Undyed perfection
- Super sturdy base: superwash merino/nylon (75/25) fingering weight yarn
- Perfect all-rounder for all types of knitting and crochet projects
- Great for home dyeing experiments, or using as is
Naked Yarn is exactly what the name suggests, a pristine, undyed sock weight/fingering weight/4-ply yarn. It is one of my most popular bases and I love working with it. Find out more in our Fibre Bases and Info page.
Due to its nylon content, it’s very sturdy, perfect for knitting or crocheting items that need to withstand more friction such as socks or cardigans. Because it doesn’t felt, it’s also great if you’re looking into dyeing your own sock wool yarn. Food colourings, for example, are a fun way to play with wool without having to use dedicated equipment.
Each skein is a squishy 464 yards or 425 meters long.
