If you love monochrome colours and spun enough yarn for two shawls, both have to be knit. Here is version two. Made using alpaca and silk fibre, this shawl is both warm and a little shiny. Glorious.
At 170cm wide, this is one great garment to wrap yourself with. The pattern is a classic garter stitch.
This shawl is a great addition to your wardrobe and, properly cared for, is an heirloom piece to be passed down for generations.
I recommend you don’t wash this shawl unless you really need to. Wool is self-cleaning so hanging it horizontally outdoors for half an hour will get rid of any smells such as tobacco.
If you do need to wash it, hand wash with wool wash detergent or baby shampoo, do not wring. Air dry horizontally.
