Description

“Not Sorry” is a semi-solid turquoise blue yarn, ever so slightly speckled with violet for added depth. The name of this colourway was inspired by my felines in residence (because cats are so notoriously apologetic, aren’t they?…)

This yarn is part of the Cattitude Collection and might be readily available available in Gaia Sock (superwash merino/nylon) or Kitten Lace.

This a dyed-to-order listing, meaning the yarn isn’t ready to send yet but I will custom dye it for you in the base you choose. Please allow 3-5 days for processing plus shipping. By dyeing only what you require, I am saving resources and energy, which is great for the planet and my stock storage.

Different colour behaviour depending on the yarn base you choose

Different yarn bases absorb dyes differently depending on the fibres present and whether they’re been superwash or not. This means your yarns might end up looking a bit different from the yarn depicted in the photos (dyed in my Gaia superwash merino/nylon base).

Please order as many skeins as you need for your project to avoid dye lot differences. I also suggest you alternate skeins as you knit/crochet to avoid any colour mismatches between yarns, even in the same dye lot.

Colour accuracy

Please note that this yarn is more turquoise than the photo shows, my camera has trouble with certain blues sometimes.

Also, do note that your monitor settings might be different from mine and therefore interfere a little with colour accuracy in any case.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Keep yarn in a dry room away from direct sunlight. Airtight boxes are recommended. Don’t place anything heavy on top of the skein to avoid squishing it.
  • I recommend adding lavender sachets to the storage container for pest prevention.
  • Hand wash your finished product separately using wool-specific detergents, dry flat. Hand dyed fibres may bleed a little in the first couple of washes.
