Description

This is a dyed-to-order listing. By purchasing it you acknowledge that the yarn isn’t ready to send yet. I will custom dye it for you in the base you choose. Please allow 7-10 days for processing (often less).

“Can’t Have Nice Things” is a semi solid green yarn with an emerald undertone. It is ever so slightly speckled for added depth.

This yarn is part of the Cattitude Collection and might be readily available in Gaia Sock (superwash merino/nylon) or Kitten Lace

Why Dyed to Order?

By dyeing only however many skeins you order, I am practicing one of the key aspects of sustainability: to create only what’s needed. This leads to less wastage. The planet thanks you!

Indie-dyed yarns like mine are created in small batches, so differences are to be expected between them (and often even in the same batch). Because of this, I advise you to purchase as many skeins as you need for your project and alternate them to avoid pooling and colour mismatches. Find out more in our Fibre Bases and Info page.

Colour Accuracy

Bear in mind colours may differ depending on your monitor settings.

On my monitor, they are showing less deep that they should (the green is deeper in real life, as my camera had trouble catching the real depth of the shade).

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Keep yarn in a dry room away from direct sunlight. Airtight boxes are recommended. Don’t place anything heavy on top of the skein to avoid squishing it.
  • I recommend adding lavender sachets to the storage container for pest prevention.
  • Hand wash your finished product separately using wool-specific detergents, dry flat. Hand dyed fibres may bleed a little in the first couple of washes.
