Description

This charming semi solid green lace yarn with emerald undertones is ever so slightly speckled for added depth. This colourway is a bit deeper in real life than what is shown in the photos (my camera sometimes has trouble with greens and blues).

This version of “Can’t Have Nice Things” is dyed in my Kitten Lace base, a luxurious, and fuzzy yarn that is a joy to knit with. Use it solo or double it with another yarn for extra warmth.

This yarn is part of the Cattitude Collection and is also available in Gaia Sock (superwash merino/nylon), as shown in the last photo – this can be purchased in a separate listing.

This is a repeatable colourway. If you’d like a larger quantity of skeins, please contact me and I’ll be happy to custom dye them for you.semi

Independent-dyed yarns

Because designer indie-dyed yarns are created in small quantities, differences are to be expected between each batch (and sometimes even within the same batch). I therefore suggest you purchase as many skeins as you need for your project and alternate them to avoid pooling and colour mismatches.

Find out more in our Fibre Bases and Info page.

Monitor Settings

This colourway is showing slightly lighter on my end (it’s deeper in real life), but please bear in mind that your monitor settings may be different from mine.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Keep yarn in a dry room away from direct sunlight. Airtight boxes are recommended. Don’t place anything heavy on top of the skein to avoid squishing it.
  • I recommend adding lavender sachets to the storage container for pest prevention.
  • Hand wash your finished product separately using wool-specific detergents, dry flat. Hand dyed fibres may bleed a little in the first couple of washes.
