Description

What's green, and yarn-y?

“Can’t Have Nice Things” is a green semi-solid yarn with an emerald undertone. It is ever so slightly speckled for added depth. The colour is deeper in real life than in the photos, my camera sometimes has trouble capturing greens.

It is dyed in my Gaia Sock base, which is a great squishy all-rounder for any type of project asking for sock/fingering weight wool.

This yarn is part of the Cattitude Collection and is also available in Kitten Lace (mohair/silk lace weight), as shown in the last photo – this can be purchased in a separate listing.

Because designer indie-dyed yarns are created in small batches, differences are to be expected between them (and often even in the same batch). Because of this, I advise you buy as many skeins as needed for your project and alternate them to avoid pooling and colour mismatches. Find out more in our Fibre Bases and Info page.

This is a repeatable colourway. If you’d like a larger quantity of skeins, please contact me and I’ll be happy to custom dye it for you.
